General Practice, Chronic Diseases Management, Nutrition and Dietetics, and counselling
My name is Dr. Jawad Hussain and I have been practising Family Medicine since 2003. I have clinical experience working in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine and Neurology while I was in the US. I moved to Australia in 2009 and completed my Masters in Public Health from UNSW. It was a huge transition when I decided to work as a General Practitioner in the remote areas of Australia where I worked in the Emergency Department and also dealt with the Geriatric population in Aged Cares Homes.
I have a keen interest in Chronic Diseases Management, Nutrition and Dietetics, and counselling.
Besides being fluent in English, I can speak Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi. I enjoy playing cricket and spending time with my family.
I want to continue spending time with my patients in providing quality of care.
