Dr Barel is an empathetic and highly motivated Specialist General Practitioner. Before entering General Practice, Jonathan completed his residency in Sydney and worked as a registrar on the Physician Training Program with ACT Health.

Dr Barel has experience in a broad range of specialties including, neurology, cardiology, endocrinology and emergency medicine. In 2020, he obtained his Graduate Diploma in Child Health and joined the Fertility Society of Australia and New Zealand in 2023.

Dr Barel believes in motivating his patients to become active partners in managing their health. He enjoys all aspects of General Practice but has a keen interest Men’s health, sexual dysfunction and family planning.
