Engadine Medical Centre will not tolerate:
- Verbal abuse, including shouting, swearing, or derogatory remarks
- Physical aggression or threats towards staff, patients, or visitors
- Discriminatory or harassing behaviour
- Inappropriate or offensive language or gestures
- Malicious or false allegations
- Damage to property
Any person who engages in such behaviour may be:
- Asked to leave the premises immediately
- Denied future non-emergency treatment or access to services
- Reported to the appropriate authorities, including NSW Police, where necessary
In extreme or repeated cases, we reserve the right to remove individuals from our patient register and refer them to alternative medical providers.
All staff at Engadine Medical Centre have the right to work without fear or intimidation. They are trained to deal with difficult situations calmly and professionally, and we ask all patients and visitors to treat them with the same respect and courtesy you expect in return.
We believe everyone deserves to receive and provide healthcare in a safe and supportive environment. Thank you for helping us maintain a respectful and welcoming space for all.
