Fee Policy

Doctor and Nurse Appointments

We will continue to Bulk Bill pensioners, children 0-15 years and health care card holders Monday to Friday 8:30am to 3pm.

Exceptions to Bulk Billing may include:

– Weekends

– After 3pm Monday to Friday 

– Doctors that list their appointments as ‘Private Billing All Patients”

Monday to Friday and Saturday Mornings: 

Standard – (gap $40) $82.00
Long – (gap $40) $120.00

Sunday, Public Holidays and after 1pm Saturday:

Standard – (gap $40) $94.00
Long – (gap $40) $133.00

Medicare rebates will be processed by reception. Medicare will process to the bank account linked to your Medicare account within 1-2 business days.

A merchant fee of up to 1.78% may apply to credit card payments3

Procedure Appointments

There will be no Bulk Billing for these appointments.

All procedures will attract a private fee regardless of your age or concession. This includes pension card holders, health care card holders and all children.

The cost of your procedure is dependent upon the applicable medicare item number and most times the item number will be available once pathology result have returned (normally 5 days post procedure)

Cancellation Policy

Please provide us with 2 hours notice if you wish to cancel or change your appointment with your doctor.

Any cancellations or changes to appointments within 2 hours may attract a cancellation fee of $40.

All cancellation fees will be charged against the credit card details that your provided at the time of booking.

Credit Card Requirements

Credit card requirements when booking an appointment:
 
At the time of booking your appointment, you will be required to supply credit/debit card details (VISA or Mastercard) to confirm your appointment.  A $1.00 card validation payment will be processed at the time of booking and voided following your consultation.

Your credit/debit card will be charged if:
  1. You have booked a telehealth appointment or will not be attending the practice physically for your appointment,
  2. You incur a cancellation fee by not providing the required notice for cancelling or changing your appointment,
  3. If you are unable to provide an alternative payment method at the time of your appointment,
  4. If you forget to pay following your consultation, and/or
  5. For the payment of outstanding accounts.
